Elite CC reached its maiden CLIA final beating Cedar Rapids All Stars by 5 wickets in Ames on 25th August, 2007.

In the other semi-finals Knights Gold pulled off an upset as the #4 seeded team beat the #1 seeded Iowa Bulls by 9 runs.
