I came to Des Moines, IA in April 2007 from Agra, India and joined Knights Cricket Club in the same month and this is my 4th season in the league. I have been working with New York Life Insurance Comapny as Financial Professional over 2 years now.  I am medium pace bowler and alright batsman.  Looking forward to play good cricket and win games for the team. Go Knights!

Married with a daughter (2 1/2). Had not played cricket for 15 years until the 2010 season. Played Rugby for Des Moines.

I am hooked again and am getting the ICL - Indoor Cricket League up and running. I love this game!

Playing for Knights Cricket Club once again after taking last year off due to personal injury. I'm back in the game and ready to rock!

A little bit of history about me: I developed a love for Cricket at a very early age (as almost every Indian does; Cricket is in our blood)! I was professionally trained in Cricket for one year each at Rajkumar College in Rajkot, Gujarat and at Duleep School of Cricket in Porbandar, Gujarat, from 1997 to 1999. Traditionally, I was a medium pace bowler and a 3rd or 4th down batsman.

One very unfortunate result of moving to USA was losing my touch with the game of Cricket. However, I'm still very passionate about the game. I've played a couple of years in the Minnesota Cricket League (circa 2003), and one year in the Knights of Des Moines. I'm looking forward to the 2011 season and as many seasons as possible going forward!
